Hello everyone, I have met some of you at a couple CARC meetings and look forward to working with you. For those of you who do not know about us we are a not for profit science museum with a small aquarium. We are about to start a new coral tank and want to educate the public about how coral grows, why it is important, and some things we can do to help protect it. Our tank is just about finished, the rock, sand and water were added last week. We will be adding a couple of fish next, of course when depends on the water quality. We had spoken to some of you about coral frag donations. We are now ready to start accepting so they can undergo a quarantine period prior to going on display. Sarris Underwater has been kind enough to be our drop off place for the frags. When you drop off any coral we ask you give your name, what is being donated, and contact information.

Here’s what we would like… For right now we are starting with LPS and softies (we have plenty of mushrooms and Xenia) but would love any of the leather varieties (colt, toadstool, Kenya tree), zooanthids, gorgonians or star polyps. As for LPS hammer, frogspawn, brain, bubble, etc would be great. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. We will try to keep everyone updated.

The best way to get directions to Sarris would be to go to their website and go to store location. http://www.skilosreef.com/ Thanks again for all your help!
