Media choices for filtering

I have set up a Nuvo 30. I have never done a nano. Only 100 Gallons and up.

What are the best choices to place in the media backets?

It's all up to the person and what they like, but a lot of people use purigen, chemi-pure, and chaeto on nanos.

Should I take out the carbon and sponges that come standard?
