Meeting Postponed : Meeting Postponed

the January meeting WILL BE POSTPONED.

i have been in contact with UCO this morning and they are already beginning to cancel programs scheduled for tomorrow. As much as I hate to postpone this meeting, especially after all the coverage in the press recently, I would hate to think people would travel in bad driving conditions.

Im sorry I havent been able to post this sooner, but I was really hoping to see a change, or delay in the onset of the snow.

The tentative rescheduled date for the meeting will be 7.30pm at UCO on the 27th.

---hopefully the weather will cooperate with us on that evening.

Well, if we do get the sleet and snow as projected, then it is likely that new members wouldn't venture out. It'll be tough getting the word out again, but it's better than not being able to get into the building or having members in the ditch.

I think if the local stores will let us post the meeting change, then we'll be okay.

that will ensure you have a membership card at the meeting as well as ensuring your name is entered in the prize drawings. If you cant make it to the meeting, your prize (assuming you win) will be here for pickup, unless its a gift cert and we will forward it to you.

Looks like i'll miss out too. I had vacation scheduled for the 13th just in case. I was off this weekend, but will have to work next weekend. Guess my next meeting will be in April. Good call on the cancellation. Paid my dues in November.
