I absolutely suck at designing patterns for the pumpkins. I can carve like nobody's business though! So if we had a contest for pumpkin carving it would have to be something other than just original patterns. That, or I could just sit it out.

Haha, Im gonna try to come, even if I have to hitchhike! Hey Mel, do you do a christmas display? Just wondering cause there is another guy in seymour that does a whole display coreographed to music and so i figured i could hit both on one trip.

Foodwise...anything you want. It's pretty much wide open at this pint.
We're making white chili (chicken based chili with white beans, white corn, cumin, and monterrey jack cheese) but you don't have to bring something that will go with it. You can bring whatever you'd like.
I'm gonna make some cupcakes, a neat panna cotta, have some melted cheese with bread/apples for dipping, and a few other things.
I'm hoping everyone will really get creative with Halloween-themed or Halloween-decorated foods.
People could bring whatever they want to though.
Also, yes Matt...we do a bit of a Christmas display. I think it's pretty much just some lights and a tree/stockings. It's nothing as big as the Halloween display but it's definitely brighter.

Well, I'm counting on Ashley for that one.
Like I said...it can be DECORATED for Halloween and not Halloween-themed necessarily.
I mean: I'm putting melty cheese into a baked pumpkin for display. It's not like I couldn't have melty cheese in something else but it's more festive in a pumpkin. See what I mean? Janie can bring that wicked awesome 7 layer dip and arrange the black olives like a jack o' lantern face.
Please bring the dip Janie. Kim and I are counting on you.
Kim could put a slight bit of orange food coloring into her mac and cheese...etc. etc.
I've got loads of ideas. If anyone needs help, just lemme know!
