it will definately be me and richard, and if its ok, the kids would like to come. the pumpkin pics got them really excited about it. we can bring some pumpkins if anybody else wants any.

what are you missing as far as eats, mel? i haven't come up with a plan yet. we're actually camping, but we'll be home in time to get to the meeting...

Hey Dana, yeah. The kids can come if you'd like.

I forgot to buy more pumpkins yesterday so if you guys want to carve one then definitely bring one with you. I've got loads of tools and whatnot. I doubt that I will have time to carve any before you guys get here.

Foodwise...it's pretty much wide open. We're having white chili and making a bunch of other little things. We can use more desserts or appetizers...side dishes...whatever. It's up to you!

Dana...Nathan will not stop talking about that pasta salad. He said last night that it's the best pasta salad he's ever eaten in his life. I think you already gave him the recipe but can you give it to me so I make sure he gets it correct? Thanks!

wow, i just thought he was being polite.

its richard's recipe, but i'm sure he wouldn't mind me sharing.

1 box o pasta, cooked

1/2 jar of Hot Riccanto Gardeneri (sp?) (we get it at food city with the specialty Italian stuff like grape leaves), only get the stuff in olive oil, and use plenty of the olive oil as well as the veggies in the pasta

Bunch of feta

Bunch of parmesan

handful of turkey pepperoni, cut up

teaspoon or so of Regas seasoning (food city and kroger both have it now), not too much or it gets too salty

i think that's it.

Yeah, he really friggin' loved it. He's already made one batch based on the recipe you guys gave him at the party. I think he missed that seasoning ingredient though.
