Hey

What do you guys think of meeting once a month on a sat somewhere to eat and talk salt? Maybe head to psp or garys or take a road trip to a lfs.(phishy or saltycritter)

Think it would be cool just to get together once a month! I enjoyed talking to Dwayne sat and thought it would be cool tojumpin a car and hit someof the spots.

I think that would be great. The only problem is that I can't afford to go to a fish store once a month. It would be cool to get together on a regular occasion though.

I work afternoons, and am on 7 dyas until the end of time, well, they said at least easter wkd Nut if I can get to one, I would absolutely loves to! I do hope that "you guys" refers to "us gals" too

Just let me know when. I always love a trip to Salty, don't belive i have ever gone in there without buying something!!

What we ran into before is I can't be there on a given day or you can't be there on a given day, or the only day that's good for somebody is that day, etc... I think the better way to go about it is set a time and place and if you can be there fine, if not, you aren't being excluded you just can't make that meeting, or gathering, or whatever you want to call it. No big deal, we're not taking attendance. I think monthly with this group may be ambitious, why not make it every other month to start, get things rolling and see where it goes. At any given date there can be a "drop dead" commit date if you're going to be there, we could set an unofficial quorum of say 5 or 6 people just to insure against one person showing and nobody else... Just some ideas, one thing I've learned as Union Pres. is that you will NEVER (one of the few absolutes I know) please everybody and if you try you're setting yourself up to fail...
I don't know who will all be there but maybe we could have an informal talk about this at the swap if there's a few of us there...

I think your right set a day and time and who ever can make it great.I would only be able to make sats since we are on 6 days a week right now.But I think I would be a good thing

Let's make a trip to salycritter or tropicorium, maybe we'll be able to get a group discount. It would be a nice excuse to head to one of them anyway. Set a date and time and I'll try to be there.

I agree, but i highly doubt I will be able to go/do anything for a while, so i cannot personally get this setup, but I am all for it!

It's all coming back to me now, why I am single....cuz if i want it done, I have to do it myself anyways!!!

I just talked to the guy, BTW, and he has a friend coming to help him bring it out of the basement....see, it wouldn't be THAT bad!!!

It is a 150g, drilled, not sure where, i haven't seen it yet, for $125.00, no stand.....keep an eye out for me!! It is a standard, 6'L X 18"D X 24"T
