Anyone near Bemidji or close enough that you'd be interested in meeting every other month or so. We figured if we got a group of us to meet on occasion it would give us northerners a chance to swap frags, see each others setups, learn from each other, group order, etc. If interested pm me!

ME ME ME!!! I have visited the The Red River Valley Reef Club, but they seem to be more oriented towards Fargo and Grand Forks, North Dakota. Would love to interact with the Northern Minnesota gang!!

So, lets set up our first meeting before the snow falls and see how it goes. May be a small crowd, but at least we can get it established. I am more than willing to host it, but only have lots of tanks getting plumbed and filled and have some rock curing, with more on the way. No livestock as of yet. Click my Red house to see progress.

Sorry I didn't PM, kinda figured I'd rather make it public. Count me in for sure, although I just moved up here from Florida and have forgotten how to drive in the snow and winter meetings may scare me!!

I am going to be ordering some live rock soon if anybody wants to get in on it. Same with some misc supplies, I will be order that soon too. Let me know.

I got it from their the released photos (released to the public) and made it smaller through Photoshop. I work for Arctic in their Styling Group and would never post a pic of an unreleased picture (in case the feds are reading this!!).

That would be awsome to work there. My Step dads sister works up there too her name is Karen Flynn.

I hope we can get a club started around here would be nice to see other tank set-ups

I'm in International Falls, I'm used to driving to get stuff though, just a way of life up here. I also have a bunch of zoos but never really bother to frag with no one to give them too.

Ok, but I suck with a camera, this is a bad picture of my Aquapod but it's recent at least, just a couple days ago.

And this is a full shot of my 33, we're are in the midst of upgrading lighting, can you tell? The other halide will be in Wed. and then we have to rearrange the tank with the new stuff in it.

Last but not least another crappy picture, this one of the temp. 20 gallon quarentine for the new stuff from Beth (johnsmb), the big rocks in there with mushrooms are mine and the hairy mushrooms in the front are the pet stores once I get the rest of the algea off, so the pagoda, rics, brains are mine, I already moved the candy canes and zoos over.

Postal, I need to talk to you about your skimmer. I have one (Remora) and not too sure how high to set the collection cup. Maybe you can advise??

Mine's set about halfway, I'd say. I don't really have much for bioload now, just the clownfish as my gramma and sixline commited suicide but I get about half a cup a week. Is yours just not working well? Also where are you ordering rock from? I might be in the market for a little, say 10 to 15 pounds.

I have it on my QT tank which has 2 Coral Beauties. and some rock going in it. Oh yeah, 1 hermit. I set the cup at half way, but I have my air intake going into the suction side of the pump. I am using a mj1200. So I guess I am doing it right then. Not much of a bio load, but oh well.
