Mega flow with low light... SPS tank

I ran across a thread, or webpage, many months ago were someone was testing this method of using monster flow for SPS driven tanks and lower amounts of lighting. I don't recall the numbers, but I'm talking way over 50X. They had a name for this type of system but I don't remember it. The thing I do remember is this one had a false wall in the back with a monster pump. The flow just circled the tank at a very high rate. I don't think the flow was random at all. Anyone know of the system I'm talking about? Have a link?

Does gyre tank ring a bell? ie water moves in a circular pattern around the tank.

Such an environment is actually very common. Anywhere you have strong currents (lots of places) deeper than maybe 15 or 20 m that's what you'll see.
