Mel has a tank hip hip hooray

Mel,
I am going out of town next week. Would you like to use my RO/DI filter?
It is a 75gpd unit with TDS meters.
PM me if intrested.
Garry

You're the man Garry... :D You missed a heck of a swap... Hope you can make the next meeting...

Oh Garry...is it something transportable? That would be the best solution out of all!!!

I can get the buckets from these guys, then make up my own water!

If you can fairly easily transport it then SURE! I'd love to get it.

Where do you live?

Don...thanks for looking! I'm sorry it was so cold! 4 buckets would be just fine. If I can borrow an RO system then I wouldn't need a ton of buckets anyways. Yay!

You guys are so awesome.

It just hooks up to any outside faucet. I also have an adapter that you can hook up to a normal(if there is such a thing) faucet.
I'll bring it to my office in Bearden tomorrow. We can meet then.
Garry

You know...I typed in some stuff about that then I decided not to complain. But since you brought it up...

I am seriously kicking myself for not having my brute trash cans and rolly things anymore. hah hah. Sad thing is...I don't have the cash to spend on one right now either. If I'd just kept one of them, I'd be golden. Oh well...I'll make due...I always do!

You could do a 200% freaking water change with that thing... lol Go to Wally world and spend $13 on a 32g trashcan and you're ready to go... ;)

That's true...thought about it after I posted. hah hah. My other one was something like 48g or so. I would need a MUCH smaller one now. hah hah. Do they make rollers for the small ones?

That's some good news at least AND more proof that I need to quit complaining about what I don't have! I can't believe what I DO have right now, ya know?

By chance, I have an empty 40g Brute can that you can borrow. It's sat on my back patio for the past year with me giving the rainwater an empty every couple months... so it has algae residue. Sorry no wheels. The Brute and a couple salt buckets and an ro/di and you should be set!

I'll be home after 6pm every workday but if that's not good for you just walk into the back yard and get it. There's buckets at the back door too. Who's gonna question someone hauling off a trash can and buckets but I'll PM you my cell just in case.

I can see my bucket is no longer needed, but I'll be happy to pass on a frag of EvilMel zoanthids to you as a tank warming gift once you get things going. :)

Well I doubt I'm going to be up and running before you have sold all your stuff off Scott, but if so, then I'd definitely take a few.

I'll have something left by the time you get going, Mel. I am going to save a colony for myself in my tank at work. And perhaps try to grow it out in my 20G tank in my garage for selling in the frag trading forums here. We'll see how they do in that situation. :)

But if you feel like you need a few more buckets, try this link:

All you could ever want for $2 each. :)

Would you like one back Mel?! I know at least one is yours because it has "Salt" written on the lid!

We won't need so many after the water system is plumbed anyway (hopefully in the next couple of weeks).

Hmmm...I would only take it back if I can pay you for it (since you guys were so generous with me when you bought all the stuff), but I wonder if it's just too dang big. Ya know?

Hmmmm...lemme think about it Matt. I really appreciate the offer.
