Melafix and Copper Power?

I put my tomato clown in the HT last night after several days of trying to trap him. He has ich. I plan to slowly raise the Cu level using Copper Power but he has cloudy eyes and his skin looks bad. Can I put something like melafix in the HT immediately to help ease his suffering? I am looking for anything that will help him feel better but will not ineract with the copper power medication. Is there something else out there better than melafix for general fish first aid? Thanks for your help.

I've mixed Coppersafe & Cupramine with both erythromycin and Furan-2 before.

No experience with Copper Power; haven't used Melafix in 20+ years.

After adding melafix, my powder brown tang that was already in the QT died that night. My tomato clown died this morning. I don't know if it was the medicine or the ich.
