Melafix

Any experiences with Melafix to treat a tang with fin rot? My LFS says its reef safe but I hate adding medication to my tank.

It will make your skimmer go crazy. I would medicate outside of tank daily.

Thanks. I've set up a QT to treat. I've needed to set one up for some time now.

in all honesty if your going to set up a qt i would do something a little stronger and better i have used melafix with no luck before on multiple occasions if i were you i would use something like maracyn2
