Before you guys shoot -- This will not be their permanent home, but while they're less than 2" they're housed with a firefish (The firefish and the melanurus scare each other all the time, they're not the most brave fish I've kept).
I've won these both at raffles, the melanurus is at home, the Linespot Flasher Wrasse (Paracheilinus lineopunctatus) was added tonight once lights were out.
The Melanurus is a Female or Juvi, the Linespot Flasher is a male. Flasher is smaller by about .5" or so.
I'll see how they do tomorrow, and I've been told it shouldn't be a problem. They will very likely move into a 48" tank in about 6 months
