Hello, I just wanted to show my Biocube 29g. Im returning to the hobby after a few years away. I wanted any feedback I could get since many of you have so much experience with nanos.

Tank:
It's a biocube 29g with no real modifications. I did change the pump as I did not have the original, and the hood was replaced with a fixture.

Lighting:
150w MH DE Fixture with T-5's
I have the original hood but empty, so I plan on getting a Rapid LED BC 29g LED dimmable kit.

Equipment:
Controller: RKL (that shold be set up this weekend)
Heater: (dont remember the name), but has been on point for now. will be replace with a JBJ True Temp 150w.
Skimmer: HOB REMORA.... But want to replace it withan Aqualife 115
Extra in-tank flow: Nano Koralia
Battery Back-up: I have both, and need to choose between a
1. SU 1400 XL RM 3U or
2. Back Up PRO-1000 (probably go with this one for a sleeker look)
UV filter: Bicube inline UV filter
ATO: Will be getting the Tunze Osmolator 3155

Life:
About 25lbs of live rock, 1 Snowflake clown, 3 firefish, 3 peppermint shrimps, 2 derasa clam, 1 crocea, and lots of softies.

Food:
Rogger's Reef food, Marine Pellets, and Dr. G's Phyto

Additives:
I dose Reef Fusion every other day and Reef Plus twice a week.

Thanks for looking.

Side view....

The tank looks nicely stocked. Which t5 lamps are you using?

I like how you have stuck them structures on the glass wall. What are they made of and how have you mounted them on?

Thanks, I wanna filled it up... slowly but surely.

The light is actually a Combo fixture that has a MH and T5's together.
the bulb I'm using is AquaticLife 24 Inch 24W T5HO Bulb.

The structures on the side glass are made by Aqua-mags.com they are made with strong magnets to be placed in aquariums. Pretty cool, and it gives you more space for more corals.

Very well stocked tank, looks like those magnet rocks are working really well for you. May have to buy one for the back wall of my cube when I start back up.

Jasin and Napster Thank you!
Poltermagda... Yeah, they from aquamags.com. They are a bit fragile, but they add some more room for more corals. I like having them.

Looks great! I was wondering about the 29 biocube for a beginner.....are your upgrades necessary? Or does the stock tank setup suffice to get me going for a result like yours?

Honestly the only upgrades I have are an upgraded return pump, and since I dont have the hood any more I use a 150w MH fixture. I do use the Biocude uv light and in the tank itself I use two Koralia 425....
But I have seen great looking tanks using the stock hoods too. I just don't have the stock hood.
I think the Biocube 29g is a great beginner tank.

Thanks Proseph... I purchase my ricordia at two LFS, I get them @ $10 ea. any color.
So everytime I go in even if its just for water, I try and pick up at least one. I have about 35 - 40 ricodias now.
