melting torch

I bought a 3 head torch at MACNA and flew it home.
One head was smashed pretty badly in transit and proceeded to melt while the other two heads seemed fine and extended partway.
But then yesterday the 2 heads were retracted and when I came home today the next head had started melting.
Can I save the third head? What should I do?

My other torches are fine in the tank, I think the meltdown has to do with trauma. Correct me if I am wrong.

Currently it is in low flow, med light.
thanks!

I moved it to a QT tank in fear that this could spread. Can it?
I gently siphoned out the brown jelly that had formed since this morning and most of the first two heads are now skeleton. The third head is 60% skeleton.
is there any hope?

Sorry to hear, In the past I have dipped and also cut heads off if I noticed something like this. It will wipe whole corals out within hours.
