Yup it's a male Hawaiian flame wrasse. I've been trying to locate a female for him with no luck of course. He's awesome really bright and tons of personality.

Frogspawn is closed, usually double the size in the pic, and please excuse the frag rack and algae on the sand.

Why does everyone's ricordeas always look so fluffy and mine are always hugging the rocks? Do I have too much flow?

i had a pair a male and female unfortunatley my sixline wrasse at the time harrased them so much they both ended up in the sump and i had to sell them cause i couldnt catch the stupid sixline never again will i ever own a sixline wrasse again it harrased everyone in the tank and it was the last 1 in.

I have a mag 5 return split into 2 locline spraybars running down the sides of the overflow and a Koralia 2 in the upper left corner. I would say thats a sufficient amount of flow for a 30 cube. All my rics usually "fluff up", as you call it, regardless of flow. I have them spread throughout the tank and they are all fully extended.

I'm jelous!!I have a 24g Nano and it looks like a desert compared to yours, LOL. Is that cheato at the top right hand of the tank? I was thinking of getting some myself but wasn't sure if I could put it in the display. How is it working for you?

thanks :)

yeah, thats cheato. i added it there a while back to house pods for my mandarin, but everything worked out and he started eating frozen. i kept it there just because i had no where to put it but it seems to keep my pod pollution up, even though i have two mandarins now.

as far as the stock, im sure your tank will get to where you want. ive been very lucky to meet very cool people here in RC and FMAS, so the credit goes to them. also as far as LFS, coral reef farm is a great place to find neat stuff. Dave and Jeff are very helpful.

Thanks ghstrider for the info but thats kinda a far drive for me. I live up in Lake Worth. If I do end up down that way for some reason I will check them out.

Here is mine. It is a mixed tank with softies, LPS and SPS. Everything is still growing in nice and slow (especially those SPS), but so far so good!
