I'm curious to see full tank shots of some of your tank's. If You would post a couple tank pics and maybe a few comments about your tank/coral selections or whatever that would be cool.

My tank is a 29gal via aqua that I bought as the "reef ready" kit with the NO lighting and a built in wet/dry in the hood. Upon setting it up I found out about reefcentral and did some research. Took the wet/dry out and bought a 250w MH and a 55w PC...after putting that on the tank quickly found out I would need a chiller to run the MH. So I ran it witht just a 55W PC for about a year keeping only LPS, when I bought a 2x24W T-5 retro and put it over the tank and started putting some SPS in the tank. I've been so happy with it I just bought another 4x24 T-5 retro that should be here tomorrow. Here are some of my most recent tank pics, but the tank will be transforming again the next month to include the new lights and I'm building a skimmer in my CPR HOB fuge.

some SPS, I unfourtunatly lost the purple digi in the center and don't know why..

hey guys, im on here a bit, but havent been able to make it out to the meetings .. ever...due to school... but none the less im hooked on this hobby... i started out with a 20L but downgraded to a nanocube to keep myself under control... hopefully i get a chance to upgrade when summer hits..

and my favorite picture i've takin so far...

tank is a jbj 12gallon original cube mixed reef with a little bit of everything, i've retrofitted the stock hood with a 70w 14k halide, along with the original 24w pc.. ther's also a coralife 18watt pc against the back of the tank for the refugium... im not running a skimmer, only filtration is a sponge that catches detritus from the overflow which i wrince out every couple of days, and 3 of those carbon pouches ... circulation is by 2 maxijet 1200's... one runing the hydorflo .. and the other on a wave timer switching on/off every 20secs.

hey robert, is that gsp you got goin on the back, that should look crazy once it fills in the whole back. i have some banished to one 'island' in the front and am thinkin about gluing some to the back, but am afraind it'll take over the rocks that are against hte back.

Hi Larry,
Yeah... Green stars. They are actually hiding the sump return on the upper left. Your toad stool looks happy. Sweet nano. The halide looks good. I think I will have to stack some rocks to the surface like you got. Kinda neat. :thumbsup:

Thanks alex. The tang is a zebrasoma dejardini. A true red sea sail fin.

Cool. my turn! I took a few pictures tonight
29 gal reef, HOB filter with a bag of carbon, with an HOB Prizm skimmer (hanging on the back of the filter). lots of water flow, I think the cumulative total was 1075 GPH.
260 watts of PC through 4 mixed and matched 65watt pc's.

My 25 Gallon Reef.
Some leathers, hammer coral, 2 bta's (bleached white), brain, mushrooms, ricordia, zoos, star polyps, 2 false percs, 1 cleaner shrimp, 1 sixline wrasse (in QT). 2 small SPS's. I am running 130 watts of PC's, a Coralife Superskimmer 65, 25 lbs. of LR.
