membership cards and name tags

If you are a current member of the ETRC, plan to come to the meeting on Saturday, and do not have a membership card, please let me know so we can make a membership card for you. We will also make a name card for you to use during the meeting.

If you need a membership card, but are not going to be able to make the meeting, let me know also, and shame on you,

I plan on attending the reef club meeting this weekend, so i might need to get a membership card. I have previously been in the club

You will need to renew Geoff. But seriously...DO renew and start coming to more meetings! It would be good to see you more often.

Yes, Mel, according to the Constitution and the Bylaws it is time to "re-up"; actually it is time this month. Records show that the majority of us paid dues in September 07. Several paid the full $24 after September, and a couple paid $2/month through June 08. I am trying to come up with a plan that will stick to the bylaws, considering that we sort of abandoned them for a few months last year, and be fair.

I will past it through the BOD. If the BOD agrees with me, I will hopefully have an answer as to how much each member owes by the meeting on Saturday. For those who are not able to attend the July meeting, we will figure out a way to collect, not sure what the best way would beat this time.

I know mel, i plan on coming to this meeting. and renewing as well...been so long since i have been to a meeting. plus i need to be reminded of what to do right in with an aquarium...what a perfect subject matter

Eddie, club members who have been in the club for a while and attended meetings but just paid their dues late are the ones who just go ahead and pay $24. Like, if I neglect to pay for a couple of months, I'm still going to pay the $24 regardless of the whole pro-rating thing.

The pro-rating thing was more for new members who haven't been reaping the benefits of the club for the entire year (and by benefits I mean coming to meetings and hanging out).

Good Geoff! I hope you keep coming to meetings! I won't be at this one however.
