Membership questions

Hello, I was wondering how the club's membership worked. A month or two ago I paypal'd for a pro-rated membership on your website and i'm not sure if I should just show up at the next meeting. I'm interested in clubs and meeting fellow hobbyists around the area but I dont want to be the new guy and making myself look like an idiot.
