Mako- Yes I come to Memphis fairly often-(actually every 2- 3 weeks) so yeah I make the "rounds" while the wife is visiting her sister at the Galleria......lol.

Usually it consists of Kermit's-> Memfish-> Petco then stop by Something Fishy on my way back to the Galleria.

I've been visiting Kermit's for @ 7 years and even used to drive over to Jackson to Tropical Fish World?? and The Reef Down Under. So I've known Richard from when he lived over at Jackson.

Now there isn't much reason to got to Jackson anymore

Have you ever BOUGHT anything from Something Fishy? I met Ken years ago, but his prices.............................

Actually I've bought several items from him just gotta really "shop" while there. I currently have a cool hermit crab in my nano from there He's got red and black stripes all over his body and he was like $7-nice contrast to my blue knuckle hermit.

I also had some really awesome yumas that I got from there for a steal. I got over 10 polyps for .................$49 and they were an awesome purple with neon green mouths. I had them for over a year until I lost everything in the ice storm earlier this year. Also had a couple of their red footed moon snails that I lost in the nano crash too.

I think he's actually gotten better on SOME of his fish prices lately. Used to see Med. Purple Tangs for $279 now he's got a couple for $149 or so.

Didnt mean to jump on this thread, but I am going to be making a trip to Jackson, TN(to toyota engine plant) there in a week. My sister lives in Arlington, TN.

I am looking for your advice on what LFS to visit. I have a SPS tank.
