:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I just got mine from them a few weeks ago. Looks just like it. The tentacles are awsome with LED blues! A very nice orange glow at the end of the tents. A definate eye catch! It's been a very healthy anemone from the day I got it. Eats anytime I feed it, quickly too. Fast reset. It's got a light flourescent green mouth to it also. It's so sticky, my cleaner shrimp can't steal food from it. They seem like a very hearty/easy anemone. Good luck, but I don't think you'll need it... Mine came very healthy. I'm thinking yours will too.

I screened it with 2 layers of window screening, removed 1 layer every 4 days. It's 12" deep under the water's surface. On a rock. LED lights. From what I've read, they are kind of a combo between a gig and haddoni, kind of like a rock dwelling haddoni, actually. It seems to like gentle flow, just enough to move the tents a little, and an occasional skirt lift. This one seems to like more flow than haddoni, less than gigs. I had quite a bit of flow on it to start (not knowing), and it moved to less flow, so I cut it back a little, and it didn't move anymore. It moved maybe a couple inches from where I originally put it. When I got it a few weeks ago, it was around 5 inches. Now it's around 7. It's growing fast, or just acclimated well. I've been feeding it every day though. I placed it knowing it will reach a couple feet in diameter, so it's a matter of time before I move a clam and a few corals.
When I first acclimated it, the foot swelled up to be huge, but a few hours later, it settled. Looked funny for a while. It always had a tight mouth. I waited a couple days to try food. Took food right away the first time, day 2 I think... Right now, the foot is in a crack of a rock, and it comes out like a bubble anemone, out from a protected "hole" in a rock, only it never deflates. Same size 24/7. I've never seen it deflated. It's really pretty cool. It seems like a mix of a gig and haddoni, only easier than both. Mine came with a main mouth, and a smaller mouth. Both seem to react to food.

I'm still in the trial phase of LED, I'm not 100% sold yet. My anemone's seem to be getting alot more brown to them though. I liked when they had color, but I guess brown means healthy. I personally like color better. I'll see...

I'm not an expert at them. This is my first one. I couldn't find too much for experience/info on them myself that I found valuable, other than what's on RC from the couple that own them here. Maybe others with experience can chime in and help us both more. They seem pretty far and few between.

BTW, that picture looks like mine, only it looks like a closed fist in the picture. Mine looks much more relaxed, like an opened hand, not a closed fist. It's got longer tents that are more bulb like, but longer than the picture. You'll like it. Hope it does well for you.

Just to give you a bit of encouragement I bought one of the other ones just like that and it came in great! I've had it for about a week and it seems to be thriving, eating, expanding and noticeably larger than when I got it so good luck!

well i got my nem today. he attached as soon as i put him on the rock. just got home from work and hes in the same spot just really sucked down on the rock. i was debating on trying a small piece of shrimp and i have never seen a nem eat so fast. the responce was like wow. going going gone. he looks red under my lighting. and has red spots all the way down the colum. hope to get a pic up soon.

RHS has about 3 more of these nem avai now. i remember one reefer on here have been searching for a very lon time to get one and i hope he sees this thread. i just dont remember who it was so i can PM him but hopefully bumping this thread will get his attention.

i have read they are not commonly available not sure why...... but let's not all go out and each buy one! study it's requirement and care first before you commit.
