Merulina coral question.

Hello,

Can someone tell me if these strings coming from my coral are algae or part of the coral? I can't tell. They are a real light brown/tan color and they look like loops. They're also in a couple other spots but only on the very edges of the coral.

Looks like sweeper tentacles, part of the coral. Make sure they don't extend out and touch other corals, might need to move a few pieces.
