messed up my osmolator safety float

Some time during our move, the backup float for our osmolator got damaged. The plastic top that keeps the floating ring from floating off the end has broken off. Where can I get a replacement?

It isn't available as a spare part usually, in most cases the whole float has to be changed but I will check my parts bin and see what I have, I likely have one. I am really ill today and probably won't make it the day, remind me if I don't get back to you by Friday.

Thanks. I was just thinking that I could probably just superglue a piece of plastic on the top to patch it, but I need to look at it again when I get home to check that the actual center cylinder didn't crack. Otherwise, water would still get in there.
