Metal Halide Bulb Help!

This may be a dumb question, but is there a certain way to put a double ended 250W bulb into the fixture or are both sides the same.

Both sides are the same in every fixture I have ever seen. They can be a pain to put in at times though.

There is no designated positive and negative if that is what you are asking. So yes both ends are the same.
