Metal Halide setup in hood

I only have 3 quick question. Would it be alright if I painted the inside of the wooden hood white for better reflection? Would I find any heat problems? Has anyone tried this?

I have 3 - 175 MH on a 155 gallon bowfront

Paint white you mean?...yeah works fine.
Put some fans in the hood to deal with heat.....

Yeah I am going to put 2 computer fans in. Do you think that should work?

not the small fans?.......those wont do you much good.....they last 6~10 months, and then the humidity will start messing with it....
IMO....get some real ones....
