Can anyone give me a rough idea of what they paid for their fabricated stands I see on here for larger tanks? Looks like 2x2 tubular steel. I've got a 240 that I want 38" high. So it would be 96x24x38. Thanks
I just built my own metal stand for a 300 gal. Size 30"x 42"x 98" out of 1 1/2" box tubing for around $250.00 plus another $175.00 for powder coat.Turned out very nice
Built my own for same size tank except 31" high. Materials were $120 and powder-coating was $175. Probably looking at a couple hundred dollars in labor if you are having it built.
If you have a locally high school that has a career center with metal fab shop they will build it and their metal cost are much cheaper than we can. They get state minimum pricing. I paid $110 for a 8 x 3 x 3 2 inch square bar stand.
