a few months ago, i purchased a meteor shower frag and glued it to my rocks. it started growing and spreading out. however, in the last few weeks, it started to go down hill. i've started to lose a few polyps in the middle and the growth on the edges is literally peeling off. the frag still maintains its blueish color except for where its doing poorly.
my tank is a 70g cube with an 8 bulb ATI fixture. I was having some issues with algae, but its been getting better with water changes and GFO. The tank is primarily SPS and the frag is towards the bottom of the tank.
I need to test my water parameters, but so far I know these:
Alk: 12
Calcium: 500
Any ideas on what the issue is? I was having some tissue loss on my SPS, but that stopped after I was able to get my Alk stable with a doser.
