How do you properly wire the pump to a controller?

It doesn't matter, it will work either way.

Ok so I assume, you just wire a plug onto the supplied wires, and plug that into the controller. I'm asking for a friend, so If there is any more detail involved, I'd appreciate it.

You connect the pump to the black leads coming off the osmolator controller using the euro connector included.
