Metronidazole

yeah ... give us an update. I have never heard of this medication but i am glad there is something out there with reported success.

Also, i would like to say that i find it great that so many people in this forum/club are so happy to help and share when another needs it. To me that is godsent since none of my family and friends get the hobby.

Thanks for asking guys. I agree platax. Its a great feeling to have people in the club that love the hobby so much. Even better feeling when they go out of their way to help. I have been mixing:
Seachem's Focus
Seachem's Metronidazole
Seachem's Garlic Guard
Vita-Chem
I put freeze dried brine shrimp in this to soak it up.
As of right now I have not seen any spots for 3 days. I am continuing feeding though. I would hate to have a false sense of hope to just been in ich's cycle. All the fish are active and eating well. It was never a real bad case to start with. I don't know how good it would really do with a full blown horrible case or if crumbletop didn't give me enough to get started. I think the quick to action and relatively healthy fish in the first place has helped. It must be some tasty stuff. I had never seen my LawnMower Blenny eat prepared food before.

No, I unfortunatly don't have a UV sterilizer. To be honest I don't know much about them. I understand how they work. I just don't know what size and flow through it would actually be of help. It might be a good thing to pick up. I could later move it to the FOWLR I am setting up.

Those look nice as they can just be hung on the side. 7 watts though for 75 gallons just does not sound like alot to me.
