Mexican Turbo Snail regeneration\survivability

Well, my double golf ball sized turbo snail was found flipped over by the ever violent Motoko (G. Smithii).

Needless to say, the "foot" of the snail is rather mangled on the back end and I believe some of the shield is damaged.

I righted the poor snail and it stuck to my tank glass wall... and within an hour, resumed grazing on the glass despite being wounded.

Today, I came home and the snail seems to just be going about its business with its mangled flesh parts looking a little white.
Is my snail in for a slow death? a fast regeneration?

It will probably survive if it doesn't keep getting attacked. I've seen snails survive lots of trauma and keep on kicking.
