Those are Nerite snails. They are climbers I tell you. I have 4 of them left... Brain your welcome to have them if needed/want. But I must warn you they will climb out if they have the chance. I collected them from the Keys a few weeks ago. They haven't died on me yet, in fact the astreas I collected were killed by the blue legs but they left these Nerite snails alone.

Oh yeah, Brain get a few turbos (3-4 for now) unless you have a lot of that type of algae on or all over your rocks. They might die from starvation if you add 15-20 IMO. Also, look into getting an urchin... they will eat everything clean and when your done bring it back to the LFS. I think mine died from starvation or when the anemone went up the PH.

Brian, I got some Trochus snail at Reef Life last night. I have never had them before, but I heard they are fantastic and eat every type of algae. Mexicans are great, but don't put more than 2 or 3 in your tank.

hey brian, I also recommend trocuhs snails for that. I had a bit of what looks like the same algae u have. Its not cyano, more like a turf algea. Kinda started looking like cotton candy after it grew out. Well I dropped a bunch of the trochus snails on top of the rock that was covered with the algae and they cleaned it right up for me. heres a pic of what it looked like

for the 38 gallon? I wouldnt go crazy and get a bunch at once probably like 5 - 10 to start, and if the stuff isnt under control with that, then add a little more little by little
