Mg-1500ppm!

I accidently added too much epsom salts to raise my Mg from 1200ppm to 1350ppm. Using the reef chem calc. I was only able to get the amount needed in grams, I use tsp's. It did'nt work out too good. So far, I don't see any reaction from the reef (its been 3 days) In 3 more days I'm due for another 15% WC(with IO), should I panic and do the WC tomorrow? or can I wait 'till the week-end?

1500 is fine you could lower it by doing water change.Nothing is going to die.

I agree. It is nothing to worry much about. I'd just let it drift down with regular water changes. There is no way besides water changes to readily decrease it, and no need to do big changes if the value is 1500 ppm.

Its actually slightly lower, maybe 1480 ppm, but the test kit is not that precise. Anyways, thanks.
