ok guys i tested my mg levles last night and it was low 1110ppm. now my question is once i start dosing mg will i need to continuously dose to keep it at the desired leve (above 1200)l?

i have the esv mg additive.

test it to see how often you need to dose it. It's not like calcium and alk that will require almost daily dosages in most stoney coral stocked tanks, but will require occasional dosing. Only way to know is to test for it occasionally. You don't ever have to continuously dose anything just because you already started dosing, you have to continuously dose supplements that are being used up.
