MH bulb info needed

Has anyone used or seen the 400 w 14k Ushio bulb? Just wondering what it looks like, is it compairable to the Hamilton 14K bulb?

Also I seen to have lost Sanjays web site, someone have it??

It is very white. The Ushio 14's are not like other 14's typically look... kinda think 10k with less yellow. From my expeirance the SE400s are whiter and crisper with a hint of blue vs the DE250's. I am a big fan of the bulb myself, and ran the DE250 myself.

Ditto to what Shawn says. He should know too, they have one over the frag tank @ Salty Critter.
Personally, I didnt see much difference between the 400w Se and the 250w De.

This is the 250 De (with 2 54w T5 Blue+) when it was over my tank.

I thought it looked much better over Shawns 120. His colors Really popped out.

If you like a white light color, you would like the Ushio 14k.

Looks like Sanjay hasen't tested the 15k usio on a magnetic ballast. Wanted to see what the PAR was.
