Mh help?

Ok so I just won a raffle at reef-a-poolza for a ushio mh lamp for up to 400watts! I've never used hm before and really have no idea how to get this bulb into use? Some links too equipment needed would be sweet! Also I have a 55g tank so info on the best bulb to choose for my tank would be appericated as well thanks in advance!

You will need at least two 150 or 175w MH lamps to cover a 55

Do you really want to spend $400 to $500 bucks to get a free bulb worth $50 bucks? What are you currently using for lighting?

That's true I'm using t5s right now didn't really plan on changing just wondering what the cost would have been to change over. Prob just end up trading to someone for some corals
