MH Light left on for a few days - Anemones Dying?

My mH light wound up getting left on for a few days when I was out of town. Apparently I didn't have the timer set right.

One anemone died and two more look sick. Is there such a thing as too much light for them, or is it something else?

Thanks!

I am thinking that something else did it.

Do you have any temp controller ? I am wondering if the lights being on that low raised the temp up too high.

What are the current parameters? (( in case something is off ))

Also, what type of anemones are they?

And...

How long have you had them?
Did the first one die while you were gone? (( that could have caused an ammonia spike that would explain the other ones not looking good ))

Params are all fine up until today, when my Ritteri died. I haven't checked them since. Literally just got home and found him.

I also have 2 GBTA's that aren't looking good. Hopefully they will pull through. It's really late, but I'll do a water change tomorrow. The good news is that I pulled the Ritteri out quickly. I caught it real early before it had completely disintegrated. I had only had that Ritteri for a week. :-(

The BTA's have been around for almost 2 months, although they were one BTA that recently split into 2.

With the Ritteri only being with you for a week, the lights could have added to its stress, they aren't the easiest to keep -- with the first month being the hardest time.

Sorry about this.

Thanks. Yep, it pretty much sucks. I have had Ritteri anemones before and though they eventually died off I had them much longer than this!

I just hope the BTA's hold on.
