mh photo period

so how long does everyone run their MH a day for SPS? i have a 120 with 2x250mh, i'm been running them about 7 hours a day, but i'm starting to slowly add SPS so i want to increase it. i'm thinking 8 hours, i dont want to go too much because summer is coming and i'm worried about heat.

6-7 hrs, 8 hrs gave me red slime, maybe coincedental, but Im sticking with 7 hrs. cutting to 6 for summer

i have the same set up as you scott, and run the same photo period as mike (above) does.
