Use 1 lumenbright large pendant, I did that on my 30"x30"x 36" and it worked much better than the 24" aqua medic I had before.

Use a bulb with some blue and you won't need antics. I like radiums.

Any chance you have pics of the tank with just the Radium? I'm also setting up a 30x30x24 and am going back and forth between T5, only MH, and T5 plus MH.

My concern with using just the one bulb is not being able to simulate sunrise/sunset and moonlighting.
