Miami Hurricane chalice

Any tips or pointers for this coral? I got a small frag about the size of a quarter last week at a local swap meet and I placed it on the bottom of my 20 gallon tank. There about five orange eyes, but the overall color just looks a little washed out. I'm so used to seeing pictures of that beautiful turquoise & orange color, and I'm not sure if it might be getting too much light. The details of my tank are in my signature below btw. I do have an area under a ledge that is somewhat shaded, do you think it might do better over there? There's not as much flow there either. Thanks. :)

thats a lot of light in a 20 . I have had challice in a 20 HIGH under a 4 bulb T5 on sand bed and that was plenty of light. try shading it some under that ledge I think it will help

Ok thanks. :) I moved it under that ledge yesterday. Hopefully it will color back up.

Yes, the depth of your tank would mean it would get IMO too much light. I have mine 20 inches down from LED running at about 50%.
