My name is Mick, 26 years old and i live together with my girl Esther and my son Toby in the Netherlands (so excuse me for my english). From when i was just a little boy, i always was drawn by the coral reefs and 2,5 years ago my dream finaly came true. The day that i have my own small reef:dance:I started with this hobby on 04-08-2010
I started the tank on 06-06-2012, and the tank is domenated by soft corals, and some sps and lps. The reason there are so many soft corals is simly because i like the movement of the softies more then i do with sps:lol:
The aquascape is based on the shallow reefs, with a lot off open space for the fish to swim.
Tank: L 10,2 feet (310cm) x B 3,6 feet (110cm) x H 2 feet (60cm).
Sump: L 6 feet (200cm) x B 2 feet (50cm) x H 2feet (50cm).
Lighting: 12x 80w t5 + 2x 39w t5, within 2 weeks i will get rid of the 2x 39w t5 and i will add gieseman spectra 4x 400w hqi + 4x 80w t5.
Skimmer: ATI super powercone 250I.
Potfilter: Filled with 1000ml Rowaphos.
Wodka: 10ml a day.
Calcium, magnesium, kh etc: I add it daily with the hand.
Current: 2x vortech mp60/ Powerhead 3000L
Water flow pump: red dragon 6500L
Uv-c: 39w
