Hey folks--
I have a aqua clear HOB that has a filter pad in it and carbon. I was thinking of removing the carbon and adding some micro algea. The filter gets light from the canopy via one 10000k and on actenic PC lights 36", oh and the tank is 40g. Also I have a HOB remora skimmer that has a media chamber in the overflow return side that i could fill up which also gets good lighting.
If this would be a good idea for a half as$ refigum then what would be some good micro algea to put in there??
