Micro Bubbles On 1 Year Old 90g

I am having a problem with micro-bubbles in DT and Sump. I have a 90g FOWLR DT and a 20g Long Sump. I recently took the sump out to clean it good and shift it to the opposite side of my stand for better access. I did not have a micro bubble issue before i took the sump out below is what I changed while the sump was out.

-Drain from DT was rerouted for a more direct path used to go down from DT to a 90 deg elbow that let out right at water level. Now it drains down to a 45 deg elbow and straight down into sump letting out downward about a inch below water level.

-Skimmer was completely cleaned and dried over night (possible that the slime buildup is causing micro bubbles? I did turn skimmer off and seemed to have no change on micro bubble production.)

-Return line was extended to reach the pump. (Only change was the rubber hose was extended from about 1 foot to about 2.5 feet.)

Is it possible after cleaning my pump and pipes the flow is too high causing micro bubbles as it drains into sump at a high rate of speed? Sump configuration is exactly the same as before. This is how my sump is set up.

Section 1 - Drain 1 /4" pvc + Skimmer
Bubble trap
Section 2 - Fuge with life rock and chaeto
Section 3 - Return Pump 3/4" PVC

I am running a EHEIM 1260 640 GPH

Any ideas? Thank You for the help in advance!

I have messed around with a bunch of different things and the only thing that has seemed to help is by adjusting to ball valve on the return line from sump to DT down to reduce the flow. Not sure if this is a permanent fix due to it is cutting back flow from my eheim pump.

Hmmmmmmmm is the piping loose on the pump itself? Cracked? Something inside the pipe?

Just giving extra ideas for possibilities, ya never know.

Did your water level change in the return section as a result of the move?

Are seeing bubbles moving through the first two sections?
