Micro Dendros

I just picked up a nice micro dendro frag with about 10 heads on it. All the heads open up great at night. Is there any way I can trick the polyps to open up at night by feeding it food during the day?

a micro dendro that only opens at night just sounds like a suncoral to me, yes you can get it to open during the day, make sure you are feeding it when its open, then start offering it food when you want it to open, preferably the same time every day, just be patient and it will eventually start opening then

cool thanx would cyclops be the best food to feed them??

I usually start with some cyclops to get everything in the tank to open up, but mysis would be a hardier meal for them

should I creat a feeding tube like some people do for their NP or just spot feed with a turkey baster??

whatever you want to do, a feed tube might be nice, I use a turkey baster but I get my hands wet everytime
