It's called a flaming prawn goby. I hope the tank is super small because I knew someone with one in a 4g custom pico tank and like Moort82 said, he barely ever saw the thing.

I had a flaming prawn goby in a 12 gallon and NEVER saw it. There is a girl on another board who has them out all the time in a 12g but i think that is becuase she has a trio. We cleaned the tank out the other day and did not find him so we are assuming he is dead.
Beautiful fish and really cool but I would only try a group of them in like a 2.5g pico if i got them again.

THE most stunning fish ever. Saw mine 3 or 4 times in nine months and then no more.
I recently set up a 20gal with rock glued to the glass in such a way that there are caves and overhangs but I can see inside all of them. I set it up that way in the hope that one day I can afford to get a pair of these beauties.

Nice I have one in my 55 gallon. Im lucky if I see it oncee every couple months. Extremely cryptic.
