I am not new to saltwater however i am new to this problem. I have micro bubbles attaching themselves to my rock work and to my corals, i am not sure where they are coming from. I have a 20 gallon long tank with a HOB filter, I was running a team rio nano skimmer, but I have taken this off, because I thought it might be causing them. over the last 4 hours without the skimmer, it seems that more bubbles are sticking to different objects. i tested my water and everything looks great? why do i have these and how do I get rid of them?

Do you have a picture? Just a thought, but cyano creates bubbles so if your rock or sand has a layer of cyano on it that could be the culprit.

So the bubbles went away after about a day. Now I have brown algae on th sand and parts of the rocks, it kinda looks like snot floating around, what is that?
