Hey Porky, this one is for you! Check out my Fruit n' Fused micromussa I acquired from Clint @ DITR a few years ago. It's looking really nice. I'll post some other photos of my LPS soon.

WOW! Looks really nice J!
Looks real healthy too and ready for a good fraggin :D

It's about 3/4 of a baseball. Definitely ready to frag. I'm just not sure how I will get it out of the tank. It's attached to a rock on the bottom of the pile. I know I got it as a micro but it seems to look more like a favia and less like my UFO micromussa,

Martin asked me after the frag workshop, If there is an extension for the dremels an such, flexable and extra long for tight spaces?

I am almost positive I have seen one I just cant remember where. He was thinking that would be good for those who cant get to the rocks at the bottom.

edit to add...
By the way the color on that is very pretty

There is a flexible extension you can buy for the Dremel. It works really well, seems to dampen out a lot of the vibration you can get. The things i'd be worried about are
1. The grease they use to lubricate it
2. Life of the extension (corrosion).

It uses essentially a long coil spring that spins inside a spiral wire-reinforced plastic tube, with a threaded fitting and collet on the end. I don't think using it in saltwater would be good for either the extension or the tank. It would be great if it was, though. Once you make sure you can't yank the Dremel into the water trying to get that perfect angle on the coral you're trying to frag!!

I have the extension.
It is great for getting in tight spaces, but I would not consider it salt water safe.
As noted it has grease inside of it that may foul the tank.

It works well for getting in areas where the thick dremel handle gets in the way.

To make it saltwater friendly you would have to degrease it with a proper solvent and attempt to replace it with a food grade silicone grease. Even then, the exposed parts would need lot's of attention to keep them from corroding.

Hmmm.......

Well now we know why I need to run things past other people. I never thought of the grease inside. I did think of the corrosion.
