Midas blenny

I promise this is the end of me bombarding you all with questions... well at least for today.

So two questions. First of all, do you expect to have any more Midas blennies available on Divers Den soon?

My second question relates to all of those people who can click faster than me (stupid, slow laptop). Is it possible to complete a Divers Den purchase to get a fish/coral/whatever and then add additional items to it before the item is shipped without incurring additional shipping charges? I had a couple of items in my cart, and one was sold by the time I logged in. (The site never retains my login info even though it always displays my name at the top.) Basically, I'd like to complete an order for my must have item to be sure I get it before someone else does and then add additional items to that same order. Can that be done?

I know, but I'm ordering another Divers Den fish so I'd rather get them from the same location if possible. Thank you though :)

No problem:)Think its only like $14.99 more in shipping when you order a fish from DD and Live Aquaria at the same time. Good luck the Midas does go very quick every time they get them in DD

michellejy,

Thank you for your post. We apologize for the delay in our response. You can certainly add a comment in the “Notes” section of the order entry process online that you would like your order held open until the next shipping day. This way you can call us to add Diver’s Den items to your existing Diver’s Den order immediately. Unfortunately, these items cannot be added to an order online. Our cut off time to receive your package the next day is 9:30 a.m. CST Monday through Thursday.

If your order is for items shipping from our California facility, we would need to place a new order for the Diver’s Den item and you would only be charged an additional $14.99 shipping fee for a split shipment.

That's great. So do you know if you'll have another midas blenny available, or am I better off ordering that from the CA location?

michellejy,

Thank you for your reply. We apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, we do not have any Midas Blennies available in our Diver’s Den and are unsure as to when we may have them available. We recommend purchasing one from our California facility. Please contact us with any other questions or concerns.

I was curious. I thought the DD fish were QT 1-2 weeks? Because just 2 days ago you said you didn't have any and now there is one on DD today?

kdblove_99,

Thank you for your post. We apologize for any confusion in regards to the availability of the Midas Blenny. We will be checking further into this with our Aquaculture Coral & Marine Life Facility to find out more about the specimen that was recently listed. As soon as we receive further information, we will be posting it here.

Ack! I just bought one from somewhere else because they were out of stock on the regular Live Aquaria, and you weren't supposed to be getting any more on Divers Den. Oh well...

kdblove_99 and michellejy,

All of the fish we offer in the Divers Den are held, conditioned, and quarantined for a minimum of two weeks. We receive numerous questions every day pertaining to the availability of certain species, and there are times when we do in fact have the species of fish in our facility, but the fish is already sold to another customer. Order cancellations, credit card authorization issues, even fish that were being held previously, but are now released for sale are all circumstances that can affect the answers to availability questions on a specific day.

With well over 1300 individual fish in stock every day either on the site, or going through some stage of our quarantine process, this can be challenging at times. I apologize for the error, and we will strive to keep improving our processes.

Regards,

Thanks for the explanation. DF&S is definitely my preferred source for livestock, so I was a bit disappointed to not get this fish from you, but I'm sure I'll be buying lots more in the future. :)
