Sorry if you guys already posted this here, I didnt see it so I thought I would repost it.

MidWest FragFest 2008

To be held May 3rd and 4th in Rockford, IL at the Clock Tower Resort and Conference Center. Unlimited swapping will run both days from 9-5 Saturday and 9-3 Sunday. Scheduled speakers include Steven Pro, Rod Buehler, Mike Paletta, Adam Blundell, James Fatherree and more with a keynote address by Steven Pro at the event banquet.

It was a total buyers paradise for sure, I was amazed at the frags I picked up at the END of the show so the start of it must have been really impressive. Usually by then there is nothing left but dregs but I grabbed several Acans lords, a Dendrophyllia polyp, a cool favia, a purple and gold Turbinaria and a few other things. Also won a sweet Sunlight Supply ballast in the raffle!

We have an annual frag swap up in the Madison area (see madisonreef.com, our club website for specifics and updates around November or so) in January or February and I would imagine that the Frag Fest will be held again around the same time next year. CMAS also holds twice yearly swaps around the Chicagoland area, check out their forum for the date of the next one.
