Might get a new tank

Well, after my much needed mental and physical break from reefing, I may get a new tank this fall or winter. Looking at doing a cool LED setup...... Stay tuned!
 
When I look for a mental break, I go TO reefing! Glad you're considering a return... now if we can just get you back on two wheels!

Now, if memory serves, you were going to CALL ME....?
 
The wife has given my the ok to put it in the den. We have a little alcove in the wall that is just over 4 feet wide and will perfectly house a tank where the entertainment center currently is. I'm excited that it will be downstairs this time where guests will see it as soon as they walk in the front door, and it is not hidden in my office upstairs like my old tank was. I think it will be more fun if more people get to enjoy the view of it.
 
Plans so far:
Tank: 4 foot long, 2 foot front/back, 20" tall.
Lights: 2 LED pendants (each equiv. to 250 MH)
36" sump
Vortech MP40 Powerhead
Eheim Return pump
ReefKeeper Controller
Octopus? Skimmer (not sure yet)
Tropic Eden Reeflakes sand


Anyways, that is the start of my wishlist... :0)
 
I should have just sold all my livestock from my old tank and kept all of the equipment in a closet........ Would have saved me mucho money.....lol
 
Well, the gun market must still be good. I sold my guns at the gun show within 5 minutes of walking in the door. New tank, here I come.. :)
