in my 29, i am gettign T5's, and plan on havign some SPS frags, maybe even some sort of small colony. I also want to keep a monti cap, or two. my questions it, will i get by without a calcium reactor?

i plan on dosign with B-ionic. and how often should i dose, once a day? a week?

you should be able to get by with B-ionic. how often and how much you have to dose really depends, you'll have to test your Ca & Alk to see where your at w/o dosing, and to determine how much Ca your tank uses, then dose accordingly. down the road, if you have a lot of good sized SPS you may decide you want a Ca reactor, although i'm not sure if you'll ever need one on a 29g...

yea, if i do fill the tank up with SPS i would get a small one, but alsop, can a finger leather, GSP, button polyps, kenya tree, and devils hand be kept with sps?

right now i haev 2 leathers, one is a finger, not sure on the other, a kenya tree and gsp on the sand bed. The sps would be up top, would these corals be harmed by the softies?

i don't have a lot of experience with softies...well, actually i don't have any experience with softies...but first i would get and ID on the "finger leather" you have. many different species are sold under that name. then go from there, i do know that some softies are fairly toxic. running carbon would be a good idea, but i can't tell you how well softies and SPS would play together. the best answer i could give you is that, yes, some species of softies could cause problems with SPS. i would also think that a small tank would only amplify the problem, but again this is just a "best guess" based on what i know.

i run carbon 24/7 in a HOB filter with some rubble, and another HOB is a fuge with some rubble and cheato.

im goign to search around, the one leather i haev is not sinularia, the other iwas todl was a leather, i got it for ma reefer for free, he was trading me some GSP then he threw in a few extras, liek button polyps a non hpotosynthetic gorgonian adn stuff
