Hey all!

Upgrading my 90 gal to a 120 gal and figured i'd post a progression thread so folks can follow along if they'd like.

Here is the custom stand being build by my step-father.

Here it is getting all gussied up.

Here is the 120g 4'x24"x24" Aqueon on top with a 40g breeder petco special

The baffles being sized up and positioned

The only issue is what we found when placing the tank on top of the stand, what looks like a little bubble in the seam and I would really like to get someone's take on that. It's on the front right and fairly small but freaked me out as this tank is brand new.

Thanks!

Well, it's moving day and thought I'd post the progression throughout the day.

The 90 is going away and the 120 is waiting in the garage. Good times for a long weekend!

I've been scouring many different forums looking for ideas and ways to make the in place upgrade as smooth as possible.... one of the things they do not mention is if your neighbor rents an aerator and offers it up for your yard as well, you do it, lol. Nothing like a 45 minute break to aerate the lawn.

Good times!

Looking good, I remember when I was in grade school they aerated the lawn at the school, we had the best dirt clod fight ever. Is the 120 going in the closet?

Progress through the day:

Lights!

Closet converging

Tank placed.... finally

Plumbing

Room conversion finished, ready for sump and more plubbming

Now for a long night of plumbing, jagermeister and UFC!

Boy howdee what a day, extra cuts in the stand, re positioning the tank a couple times and lots of drafts of plumbing. Finally setup how i like it and NO LEAKS!!! :)

Yup lights are in a slight V.... kinda cool haha

Onward!

The current list is:

2x Snowflake clown
1x Tomini Tang
1x Black spot foxface
1x flasher/carpenter wrasse
1x midas blenny

Looking to add:
Blue spot jawfish
2x Dartfish or purple firefish
1x Purple tang (Last)

The move did allow me to relegate all hermit crabs to the new refugium and plan to order a small army of various snails for the display.

Always looking for comments, suggestions or general encouragement hehe

Whoohoo! Finally. Everything has been hooked up, no leaks under full go and power outtage test done. Boy this feels good.

Lots of tidying up and moving a few things around to make it a lot cleaner but everythings looking good and running good.

Fish are tired of day 3 in the blue bucket... so far i've not lost a single soul.

Thanks :)

Can't wait for the dust to settle and really take a look around, tried to get a valley in there and provide a wide range of levels and shelves for coral.

The 90 i moved from had more of a vertical theme with caves, this should provide a lot more swimming space and viewing of the inhabitants.... well i hope haha. The tomini and foxface are insanely shy but the Midas and clowns make up for it.
